Kate graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She started her legal career in 2008 as a paralegal for the Port Hadlock firm Knauss & Seaman PLLC. Kate was accepted into the Washington State Bar Association’s Rule 6 Law Clerk program, and she continued to work as a paralegal until 2012, when she transitioned to the Jefferson County public defender’s office as a Legal Intern. After graduating from the Law Clerk program, Kate was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 2014.
Kate is a member of the Washington State Bar Association and the Jefferson County Bar Association. Kate has been Of Counsel to Cross Sound Law Group since 2017. Her practice is exclusively focused on all aspects of estate planning, including Trusts, Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Health Care Directives.
